About "The Healthy Me"

Get to know Sam, her story and how she can help you

Sam’s adventure as “The Healthy Me” began in April 2012 when she began living a more active life. At the end of 2013, she left her teaching career to begin working with women as a Personal Trainer. It began with leading a variety of boot camps and group fitness sessions, as well as operating a private studio for Personal Training sessions.

After having two children of her own, Sam saw the need to further her study and knowledge of the body and did this through completing Mat and Reformer Pilates courses. The focus on mobility, ageing, prevention of injury and posture became a new area of interest.

She’s now based in Carina Heights and exclusively offers private Personal Training to her clientele. With 10 years of experience training women, it’s been incredibly rewarding working with all stages and phases of life. From injuries and rehab to pre and postnatal women, each client has received one on one care, respect and quality training, building Sam to be the Personal Trainer she is today.

Sam is empathetic to women and their needs. Sometimes a sweaty, busy gym is not a motivating environment... sometimes you need that extra push... sometimes you feel comfortable training where your children can be with you… sometimes you know you’re trying your hardest but you’re simply not seeing results... sometimes you just need some guidance and a friendly ear.
